Inspire people to optimize their health, to take their health into their own hands, to make good choices so they can feel energetic, and to tailor health solutions that meet the customer's needs
Tali Lehavi Hamer is a dedicated health consultant and biohacker with a dedication to helping everyone optimize their life through integrative medicine. She is also an inventor, yoga instructor (250 hr Hatha certified,) published writer, and mother. Lehavi’s most famous claims to fame are that she invented the heart hand gesture, the food plate rather than the food pyramid, the entire niche of mindful coloring books, and the digital photo frames. She is also the inventor of Planet Heart, the Edgy Love dice and room decor, the Sponaps line of room decor and jewelry, and the Hemispheric Harmony products to help balance out the brain hemispheres.
Lehavi has been serving on the Acupuncture Board of Examiners since January of 2019. Additionally, she has been teaching yoga continuously since 2005, incorporating all of her interests of wellness into her classes, by adding some dry brushing, some meridian info, encouraging positions for the lymphatic system, and any other wisdom that seems relevant. Lehavi's favorite yoga to teach is mostly inspired by Hatha, allowing people enough time for proper alignment and holds that are somewhere between two and three breaths, but the reality of the class is fully dictated by the needs of those who come. She always integrates the HeartMark-the heart hand gesture that she invented that is now an international gesture.
In addition, Lehavi has done health lectures throughout Sprouts supermarkets in Arizona and California, teaching her mindfulness method to health where she introduced people to the food plate at a time when the official national guideline was still the food pyramid. She has no proof, but she jokes that someone who took notes may have informed Michelle Obama to change the pyramid to a plate! Lehavi used her own methods of mindfulness to think about what makes sense regarding the strangely arbitrary “food groups” of the time and and the illogical pyramid. This led her to change the USDA’s 4 “food groups” and to take out the “bread” and “dairy” groups, among several other changes. (To read more: blog) She also taught her method to nurses who took this for CE's at a local hospital.
Lehavi loves integrative medicine because it allows her to bring together as many tools as possible to help someone heal wholly, physically and spiritually. Integrative medicine is more thorough, allows for more testing, looks for the root causes that lead to imbalances in the body, and employs a lot more tools than if Lehavi were to dedicate herself to just one medical philosophy. She loves choosing what works from (in no particular order): labs for nutritional deficiencies/imbalances/toxicities, labs for individual sensitivities, supplements and IV’s, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, iridology, lymphatic massage, Ayurveda, yoga and breath work, infrared technology, hyperbaric chamber therapy, peptides, healthy food, healthy mushrooms, ultrasound, PEMF, reflexology, and so much more!
Lehavi’s mission is to help empower individuals to take their health into their own hands. She published a book early in the pandemic to teach people to listen to their body, to teach them to read their own symptoms, and to know which organ needs attention and then choose the right methodology based on what is available to them. She also published a nutrition book, as well as many coloring books to balance out the brain hemispheres. Wherever possible, Lehavi encourages everyone to practice preventative health practices within their budget.
There is truth and wisdom everywhere, as well as some errors and things that won’t serve you well. The key is to take the benefits that are helpful to you, and edit out those that are not. Hopefully, you can find some helpful lessons from what Lehavi has learned, and edit out what isn’t helpful too! This applies to so much to what you may be advised to do on the yoga mat as well as in life!
Lehavi has a current level 1 Finger Print Clearance Card that allows her to go into any school for teaching, CPR training, certifications in many types of yoga such as Hatha, Corporate, Nidra, Yin, and PiYo. She is also certified in related programs such as Silver Sneakers, 305, and Bender Ball. She holds 2 BA's from UC Berkeley in Spanish Literature and Psychology.
